My last video was a bit big, using up over 15 GB's of bandwidth the last time I checked last week, so this one is smaller.

I bought a bullet-cam kit for the dv-cam recently and I've been itching to get out and use it, unfortunately the weather's not been great here and the mic was bust, but undetered, I strapped it to the bike and myself one day and had some fun riding to and from work, which takes me through central London.

Roll on the nice weather so I can get out of town and make some proper movies!

Man, those roads are crazy. Beautiful run though. Wouldn't mind going there to check it out. BTW, What to the lines on the road that are like so mean? /\/\/\/\/\/\ I noticed there near stops it looks like.

Very cool! :thumbsup

What a great look for us Americans to experience riding in England, like the "Euro Trash Biker Rags" we love to read!
You guys have the best sportbiking magazines.

I miss riding in Europe. I was stationed in Germany for most of the 80's, with a then-new & exotic (& tuned) GSXR-750.
I had opportunities to spectate at a few Moto Gran Prix's all over Europe, and I was even lucky enough to ride several great G.P. tracks in Germany, Belgium & Holland, as well as autobahns, Alps, etc.
I went everywhere at over "the ton"!
I truly "stretched the throttle cable" for 2 solid years!

You would absolutely HATE driving in this country.
I never went faster, but safer, than riding in Europe.

Please post more vids!
How 'bout a top speed run on the M1?

FZR600Rider, the white ones? They're called hatched areas, they're there to divide the traffic and give some space, it's legal to enter them, so bikers use them as 'bike lane' a lot of the time.

If you mean the yellow criss-cross after traffic lights, they're called box junctions, they're designed to speed up heavily used junctions. You're only allowed to enter them IF your exist is clear, unless you're turning right. It's so that if the lights change, and you're in the box, you don't block the path for the people who just got green on the side.

Mity, sounds good! We don't go fast in town, it's too dangerous for other people and ourselves for that, but you get some nice dual-carridgeways and open roads that you can have a quick blast on. There's this one stretch of road (I won't say which!) that is a flyover, and on my R6 I used to love racing up the on-ramp, do a little wheelie at the cresent and tuck in for 120mph until I had to slam on the brakes for the off-ramp, now with the GSXR 750, I can do all that, with a bigger wheelie and 140mph at the end :)

Over the next few months, I'll make proper videos of our ride-outs, with sound and clear views.

Definately post up. I'd to see some of your group rides out there.

Sweet vid, Amethi :D

It's odd to see traffic traveling on the opposite side of the road. How is it riding through traffic like that :thinking I'd be terrified some idiot cage would change lanes on a whim and turn me into a hood ornament :doh

Like the music selection :agree

Well, luckily we've been driving this way round for, as long as there's been cars on the roads, so people know most of the time what side they should be on. Though not always (grr).

It's always fun when we pop on the train to France/Belgium and have to ride on the right hehe.
