Hey guys I just took delivery of an 03 Mille R. I'm so excited I can't wait to get out on the road. I'm new to the V-twin world, but I'm glad to be here. Tell me what you think and any must haves/dos. Thanx in adv.

Congratulations on the Aprilia! Welcome to the new world of V-Twin. Heres a tip on higher gear like 3-6 always stay on the throttle giving it gas and stay above 3000-3500rpm so you can ride smooth and hold on once you reach 5000-9000 rpm the power comes alive. What ever you when riding average speed of 55-65mph limits don't close the throttle then then open because it will just BOG on you and will not go anywhere the exception is first gear if your doing wheelies. Be prepared to pay gas because VTwins consume alot of gas because your always on the throttle.

Will Enjoy your Mille R because I love my RC51 and love the feel of a VTWIN dragon Sound.

Hey "Q", Thanks for the advice. I rode about 50 miles today and this bike is a dream. I should be writting this 5 years ago. Take care and enjoy the TWINS.
