Myself and a friend bought these bikes to try out and today we installed a K&N style air filter and velocity stack. They came with no oil so we put K&N air filter oil on them. Right away I noticed that my bike seemed to bog at full throttle and after I shut the engine off the filter was soaked with gas. I was thinking that either the mixture richened up or the oil in the filter was too much and was choking the engine causing the fuel to spit back through the velocity stack. What do you guys think?

You dont need to oil the filter, now the K&N oil should be thicker than the micron limit on the filter, was it a K&N filter if not, it probably let the oil pass. If so wash it out you dont need oil these things run in relative clean air, do you have a weed eater, gas blower hell they last forever and I abuse mine. Dont worry about oil. leave it dry.
