hello guys,

I need help from you all in deciding what kinda exhaust slip-on should I put on my brand New 2002 Honda CBR 600F4I. I want something that would sound really good on it. Maybe the guys who own CBR 600F4I's can tell me what goes really good on it. I would appreciate it if someone can answer the following questions for me

1... How is the Yoshumira exhaust on honda although they really make it for suzuki

2... I heard Two Brother exhaust are the best one for Honda..is it??

3... How is Micro exhaust...are they any good....anyone ever had it. Because the thing I like about them is that they come in cool colors...I saw it at triktape.com

4... Is the trioval exhaust better than the regular round size one.

5... How about Muzzy's exhaust...are they any good.

ANd if you guys would know where is the best place to buy exhaust from. Is there any places you can get good deals on 'em.
Thanks again for all your help guys...I really appreciate it.

A slip-on is basically for looks and sound - you'll get no *real* power gain from just a slip-on.

That being said - it's all about what you are looking for and what you want.

If you want something so obnoxiously loud and unrefined that it makes you want to vomit, get a D&D.

If you have the extra scratch and want a good mellow, tuned sound, get an Akro.

Micron makes good slip-ons which are easy to repack. I didn't care for their highmount system so I bought an M4 Titanium, which has a real nice mellow (quiet) sound at idle and low RPMs.

Your best bet is to go find other people with an F4i and listen to their exhaust at idle and at different revs.

Go with the Akrapovic nothing matches the fit and finish. Quality all the way

I prefer the Erion ones, nice sound and decent quality...

This is the wife's bike, not mine.

I went with the Two Bros on my F3.
A slightly louder, more crisp sound with a great fit, and better than decent quality. -IMO.[13]

From everything I've read, most of the manufacturers are the same with the exception of Leo Vinci and Akrapovic. Those two pipes always receive high praise.

I went with a M4 high mount titanium slip-on. Didn't need the power, just wanted the looks and sound. I was really satisfied with it...I'll probably go with dual high mount M4's if I get a RC51.

Here's a picture of her...wish she still looked that good [4]

I also went with two brothers, I am very happy with it. Good quality pipe and great sound.

Did you have any problems with your foot hitting the mid pipe? It looks like it's farther back than on the Microns.

Not too often. Every once in a while my heel would brush against the mid pipe, but nothing ever got in the way...and that was wearing Alpinstar size 11 SMX boots.

Jardine RT-one [37] is the shiznit for the F4is. Oh by the way , get the carbon fiber one.

Doesn't the Carbon Fiber break down and start to flake off if left in the sun? Living in Texas we have a lot of heat and sun year round, so that doesn't sound soo good.

That's why I went with the titanium canister instead of carbon fibre. The black carbon fibre looked better on the bike, but I didn't want to deal with long term issues. Of course, that doesn't matter now (since the bike did a few cartwheels), but I'd still go with titanium.

That's IMO and my $.02 [3]

I too am trying to decide which pipe to buy. I have narrowed it down to the following three: 1.) Devil SB2 C/F Highmount 2.) Hindle C/F Highmount and 3.) Akropovich C/F. I would like more info on the Devil. I can only find 1 dealer in the US and it doesn't look like there is a specific map for the PCIII. Those with Hindle's - have you had any problems?

I had a red micron slip-on when i first got my bike. but, after adding the undertail, cowl and hugger all in red the pipe had to go. I love the sound/look of the carbon Devil HM better than any other pipe i have heard/seen.

I too am looking at the Devil, in either CF or Titanium. Hindle was my other option but I think I like the looks of the Devil HM over hindle. The only 2 places I have found the carry devil are either, www.devilbikes.com and www.exoticsportbike.com/ . Hope that helps

Another vote for Erion! Where as the others are questionable in quality and/or usually open to a "matter of opinion", the Erion is undeniably fricken awesome! Not too mention Erion and Honda pretty much go hand-in-hand! Two Bros, Hindle, and Jardine are all pretty good...but when I get the tone in my head of what a sport bike should sound like...Erion did it right! I contemplated over this issue for over a year... I'm tellin' you MAN... get the Erion, you wont be dissapointed (and you'll make others jealous).
