you know more about pocket bikes then me. do you know the laws on them in louisiana? i heard if its under 50 cc then you just have to be 16 and have at least a class e drivers license whatever that is.

As for the pb laws in Louisiana I can't honestly tell you. From what I have heard you are correct: 16 & a moped lisence.

I cant say I've verified that thru anything official.

I ride mine on base here at Fort Polk, and I always ride in the correct clothing for on base, do the speed limit & I've never had any issues.

Correct clothing for on base is long sleeve shirt, reflective belt, helmet, street bike type gloves, and over the ankle leather shoes.

Which does kinda blow since Louisiana is a helmet optional state, however they are required by the Department of Defense. Meaning if I get in an accident & dont have a helmet on I would have to pay my own medical bill, and or void my military life insurance.
