So i'm new at this shite and i need help on what kinda pocket bike i should get. i need some help new with all this. what is the best pocket bike on the market and what kind should i get? any help or comments would be great. thanks for your time..

well what everyone else would say is what are you going to use it for and where do you live way out in the sticks in a city are you going to use it for cruising or are u going to race do you want a really small one or a midi the midi's are slower usually about 25 is there top speed stock the super minis can get up to 50 stock for the very expensive ones and 30-35 for the 300 dollar ones...depends on what u want and the money you have get back to me and we can help you out more...

What is basically comes down to is looks & price. How much are you willing to spend & how much do you like to look at whats out there for a price? If you dont care at all about looks then theres performance but any bike can be modded.

well price does matter. but what are some good bikes out there. i want do some mods to it my self. i don;t know the price ranges so i don't really know how much i want to spend yet.. what kinda bike do you have????

Me personally I'd take a pass on it.

I compared it to an x7 since its pretty much the fastest bike you can buy out the box.

No the x7 is the fastest of the mid bikes out at the moment. CHeck the floss your ride thread I think there is pics there. Its the r1 replica.

If u go to anyother forum or read any reviews, it smokes eliet 13's...i recomend getting them, and the 12 HP isnt real, but its more like 7, someone did a dino on it or something, but i cant find it. I recomend the hydra

Mblough refered to it as the fastest midbike out of the box....which is pretty close to correct. The water cooled bike is a pocketbike...not a midbike...and yes I'd say as of right now it is the fastest pocketbike china has to offer.

I am saying the hydra is fastest stock chinese built pocketbike made so far. I have seen some 4 stroke midbikes being built for import but, I do not know when they will be available.

The point I was getting at is once again another place shows up claiming super high stats on another bike. You've said it yourself that the bike doesnt and wasnt what they claim. i.e. 12hp its more like 7hp.

So how do you know what they can or cant do? You dont. So the 60mph claim could be more like 35? We dont know. I mean after all they are places out there that claim a cat eyes out the box is 50+ mph.

The mans asking if thats what they can do. Answer is no. So he pays that much expecting greatness and gets about 4 level below what the claims are.

My son has one of those $400 bikes from the auto stores. I have a Polini Pocket bike. It will run about 60 MPH and I weigh about 170. The $400 ones will do about 25-30MPH. The bad thing is that the $400 bikes are made in China and they are cheap as hell. The Polini is an actual race bike and is not a toy. Go to www.polini.com and click on minimoto. Other sites have the info in English. I paid about 1200 for the Polini. My son now has a Yamaha YSR 50 that will run about 55-60. I like riding it!!! YSR 50's are always on ebay. Most of them can be used on the road.

Let me ask you this, what is the plan with it? Racing, like track racing or friend racing and chillin around? Also is it easy in your budget, and do you like the looks of it? What you buy isnt a question we cant answer.

Me personally like I said I would get a x7 and get some mods for it. I just dont see slapping down money like that for something that isnt street legal. When you could stretch a little farther get a used street legal 50cc and have 10000000 times more parts you can upgrade.
