View Full Version : X1 Decals
I have a huge favor to ask of anyone willing to help. My son's X1 that i bought him as a surprise for Xmas, unfortunately the tail graphics just below the seat have been scratched really bad. :crying I have attempted to reproduce them freehand but they look like crap. There is no local business where i can get them reproduced and the seller has none either.
Is there anyone who may have this decal laying around that they have not used and would be willing to send to me so i can trace it out on decal paper and return it to you? If so, it would be greatly appreciated. :help

Do you have a picture of the decal?
Do you have a picture of the decal?
Here's the decal. The decals that actually came on the bike are not identical to the one shown but this pic shows the decal that he really liked.

Cant help, but I do have a few suggestions.
Go to an art store and get tracing paper and tape it to the section of the bike that you want.
Slowly trace the decal with a marker.
Once you have the trace down, either cut it out of transfer it to a poster board.
I would suggest the poster board, cause the trace paper is so flimsy.
Then the cut out poster board will serve as your template.
By a suitable size sheet or roll of the color viynl you want, and trace outline the template to it.
Cut it out slowly with sciccors or a hobby knife. Then BOOYA, you're all set.
This takes a steady hand, so dont drink alot of coffee before doing this.
I made Kanji decals for my bike this way. Saved me tons of money, besides I like doing my own style of fabrication work, even if it is artsy.
PICS to come soon.
tks guys. i found one last evening from a seller who didn't even sell me the bike. tks for all your replies :agree

I had an X1 and I just removed all the decals. The bike looks much nicer and much cleaner. I would say remove the decals them maybe just go buy your own custom decals and add those ones on. The stock ones are really crappy quality and look like crap.
