Takin Out All the Electricals in Cat Eye?!?!?

i read somewhere that by takin out all the electricals in your PB, it will give you more power....now, how does it give you more power? and what does it mean to take out the electricals??...

This doesnt give you more power, just takes off like 7 pounds, or more. That way, you can go a little faster. Taking out the electricals is cuting all wires except for ground, spark, and kill switch wires. So you can take out the battery, which weighs alot, and a bunch of other things. Ive never done it, but alot of people i know have done it wrong, make sure you know what you are doing.

Agreed unless you have electrical & motor experience so you know what your looking at, dont do it.

i remember readin somewhere if you remove the electric start it would give you more RPM.

Its like he said your just lightening things up. If I were you I would read thru the threads on down and read the one where someone else tried this and theyve been posting questions trying to fix it for some time now.

Unless your like a hardcore track racer, I dont see why you would want to do this.

I must be lazy cause I like my electric start. The MINUTE MINI gain you get from doing it isnt worth it to me.
