How do you take the govener off an x7. I know that it has 2 be broken in before i take it off. Also how much faster will it make it go. I have looked through the faq already and pervious threads.

Not all the X7s had them installed.....Some are in the throttle handle. Take the two screws out of the handle and look for a piece of plastic thats shaped like a C.
Some are in the carb's linkage at the carb itself. You will have to examine it yourself to see if it is there. As for speed if it has one in place it cuts the throttle in half.....so it will make a ton of difference.

i think you should break it in first cause i took mine off my x1 before i broke it in and it got all fudged up, so that may have caused my problems but i cant be suure, anyway my x1 is sitting collecting dust ive been waiting for a call from someone to fix it so hope it comes soon.

i have a z600(cat eye) and how would i take them out? a friend of mine said that there is one in the throtle, carb and exast im getting a new exast so... i need to no how to get the one out of the throtle and maby the carb if its not to hard. franktanf563@yahoo.com or my IM is franktank563 thanks!

ok never mind theres no gov. in my throtal but how hard is it to get the gov. out of the carb? and how would i do it?
