I have an x2 and it will only go about 15 and it's supposed to go around 40. If I take the screw all away at the end of the throttle cable off will the bike break. How can I make it faster without buying anything.

First off the X2 stock will never hit 40mph unless you are an infant.
secondly, if you are fully reving on the bike, and you just got it, it tends to mess up the engine greatly. You have to break in the engine. If you need help, do a search for breaking in the engine.
Thirdly, the ratio gas:oil will also give you more speed. If you up the ratio (25:1 when you are breaking in the engine, then 35:1, then after a tank go up to 40:1 or 50:1) then it will go faster.
Fourthly, i've heard of restrictors on the throttle cable that will restrict you from doing any decent amount of speed. Check the forums for pictures or for stories related to this.
Lastly, put your bike up on a stand after it's broken in, and rev the engine for 5 seconds. Then adjust the top end screw (different on all carbs. It could be the throttle cap like on my cag if you have the same carb) until you feel it reach full rpms.

40mph is dry weight ( no one on the bike). i barely hit 40 when my x12 110cc bike was stock.
