1. Remove the 3 starter bolt around the edge of the starter (Black thing w/ pull start handle)
2. Unscrew bolt in the center of the flywheel
3. Remove Flywheel: Screw 2 bolts into the holes OR pry flywheel off with a screwdriver
4. Take Dremel with largest cutting bit and cut off 2 teeth then skip 1 then 2 then skip 1 ... until 6 teeth are left
5. Take grinding bit on Dremel and grind down if needed
6. Screw in bolt in the center of the flywheel
7. Screw the 3 starter bolts on

This will give you better acceleration and it only took me 1 hour to do. I used the big black dremel bit that is fiberglass reinforced. What it is supposed to do (I think) is put less drag and weight on the flywheel to make it spin faster. Please correct me if I did anything wrong.

you can cut off all fins BUTTTT u have to keep the bike always moving so if your coming to a full stop u shud turn the engine off. Only advised for racing

im pretty sure it will be alrite for short amounts of time but dont let it sit there for like long periods of time. anything under a minute id say wud be alrite, also depends on the weather outside

All I want to know is how did you keep it balanced???

i thnk its the number skip to leave two keeps it even and make it real even wen u finish cutin them so theres no extra fin tht might cause a problem in balance

It would take more than that to keep the flywheel balanced. Just hacking fins off with a dremal is not going to keep it balanced. You should just go ahead and order a new crank and bearing for when they go bad.....

ya sounds like they it would become very unbalanced but i haven't heard from 6berry in a while i thnk hes doin fine or he could hav already totalled his engine and gave up on pocketbike. u never know

if u do them rite and bring it right back to like the plate that the fins are welded to it should be alrite. as they are normally the flywheels arent completely balanced anyway
