I just a letter from ducati north america
a recall for all models except the 996s made in 2001
vin# 1B000013-1B013249 INCLUSIVE

recall campaign i.d. no.02v-114
replacement of clutch slave cylinder..

take it to your local dealer for a free replacement,seems they are prone to inturnal leakage and failure.
i called today for an appointment 2 weeks is the earlyest so call quick dealers are getting swamped fast...

Yup I got my letter in a few days ago.

I hope I have my 996 up in Jacksonville soon so I can take it into Ron Turners Shop for the 6k service and the recall work as well...

Don't worry I know another one in your area as well he has a 916 Senna edition I will round he up so we can have a few ducs at Sonics [2]

Plus doesn't some guy on this board have a Girlfriend with a 2001 red 748? I believe his name is Steve

No Steve's bike is a track bike but his girls is a street legal 2001 748 Duc. The only thing she has done to it I believe is the exhaust...

Hahahahaha, Hey now My Duc is Yellow and it's a 996 and I am NOT stuck up...

My first bike was a jap bike and most the people I ride with have them. Plus I have another Jap bike 2K-ZX7R

I remember you at Sonics when I went there a few weeks ago to meet the locals with Rick (gsxr 1000)...

I'll ride with ya. I LOVE to ride my duc...

I am now, Just on every other weekend I come back to Tampa to see my Daughters. And if everything goes well I will have my Duc up there this Friday :O) - Yes tomorrow.
