MAKING A COMEBACK!
Ever since I sold my '07 750 in 2011, Ive had the itch to get it back and get riding again. Cliff notes:
sold bike, bought house, got pregnant, got financial woes, got pregnant again, worked damn hard on careers and getting the pay scale increase, and now we are doing really great.
well, that itch has only grown stronger over the years and I am getting close to justifying the price of a reasonable toy expense.
I WANT MY '07 750 BACK!!!
At this point im leaning towards doing 4-5 track days in the season and a few street rides here and there, certainly not the epic rides every weekend we used to have.
hoping to be up and running by next riding season! stay tuned cause Nicegy is coming back!
Sweet! Make it happen!
Good for you!! I love comebacks!!
I would like to see this website make a comeback!
You’ll get there!

T-wrecks or T-race (not sure what she goes by these days) Aka Tracy, has a 2006 GSXR-1000 for a pretty good price…
And she takes very good care of her bikes.

I guess I made a comeback of sorts. Came back to this site. Still got the ole 02 ZZR 1200 Kaw. 15 years and still kickin it.
Scored a used Aplinestars 1-piece and a brand new Spidi Leather Jacket for $375!
found my old Oxstar boots (bought before they were forced to change their name) and track gloves
debating on the wisdom of using my old helmet. Scorpion EXO-100. It was Snell 2005 certified and has never been wrecked or dropped. Im thinking it should be fine and I can upgrade later on.
Should be in a position to buy a bike next month!
Now I just gotta get permission from the wife…
@nicegy525 Nice! the helmet and gear should be fine - I rode with a Shoei RF-900 for 16 years … never went down with it and it did just fine. I’d still be wearing it today except some asshat stole it out of my garage.
Keep us posted and which bikes you’re eye-balling! Does the wife ride too?? Might be an easier sell if you can frame it as a “couples” thing.
Agreed! Get the wife to ride! Lots of great women riders out here! The more the merrier!
Julie is not the moto type lol! She has zero interest in riding!
Im gonna bite the bullet and invest in a new helmet just because. years ago, I couldnt have afforded it.
