I think maybe you’re right about this Okaive - I think we need to just spew SBWS links all over Facebook to all of our friends and family who ride … get them to come check this place out. Shit, they can even login using their Facebook login here! There are good integrations with Facebook, etc. to share posts and everything.
I’m in. I’ll register for the Grand Tour today, and get the book. I’m totally fine with ~300mile days; not sure if I want to do ~600 mile days. And taking that much time in a row off is going to be an issue for me; being self-employed sucks.
What software are you using to plan the route?
I think some three day weekend type rides would be awesome; blow out of town early on a Friday, get to ‘H’, spend the night, come back up and do ‘I’, ‘J’, and the finish point on Sat., spend the night and then head back home on Sun.
Couple weeks later, go out and do S-O, out and back?
What sucks? Being a Work Leader and handing jobs out to my crew and they tell me to fuck off and then go smoke half the day. I cannot do anything because they are union and will file grievances on me and I will be the one in trouble.
How I get aircraft out on time is beyond me.
Do you have procedures to write them up for insubordinance?
Ah. I have a 2012 ZX10R, and by default the bike does the exact same thing. Thankfully I had the ECU flashed which allowed the bike to remember the last setting so mine is always off. Granted on the lowest setting it didn’t intervene much even though I’m a very spirited rider. However, the bike remembering to keep the TC off is probably the best thing that came from the flash.
